Great Online Menus

Build your menu on this page and view the results on the preview page. A computer with a larger screen is better than a phone for this task. Learn how this page works by experimenting with it before you start building your real menu. Give it a try by filling in your restaurant name and then going to the preview page.

We recommended that you build the meal and type layout first, with one menu item or text where needed, and then go back and add the remaining items and text afterwards. A menu item or text can be inserted after any existing item or text; just select the radio button of the existing item or text first. A selected item or text can also be deleted. Note that if you want text that is outside of menu or type sections, you must add that as you are building the meal and type layout.

If you have an electronic version of your current menu, it may be easiest to copy and paste from that.

The restaurant description will help guests find you when they search for food online. It should be simple, inviting, and contain the most important information about your restaurant. Limit the description to about 160 characters. Be sure to include the type of food that you serve and your town or city. It can also include a 'call to action'. This text will not be visible on your menu but it will appear in search engine results under your restaruant's name and slogan.

Your menu can be saved and modified at a later date. After it is saved, it can be launched online and your guests will be able use it.

You can add color and/or italics to your menu on this page. This step is optional.

It is important to maintain high contrast between the text and the background. Light yellow text on a white background would be a poor choice because that would be difficult to read.

Colors are represented with three digits that indicate how much red, green, and blue are in the color. Each digit must be in the set {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a, b, c, d, e, f}. Some examples are: 000 (black), f00 (bright red), 0f0 (bright green), 00f (bright blue), and fff (white).

Over 4,000 colors are available to you. A subset of these are shown in the table below. Combinations of e and f are useful as light backgrounds.

Pro tip: six digit colors are also accepted.

Save Your Menu

Create or log in to your account. You can then save your menu. You can also retrieve a menu that you have previously saved, make changes to it, and then save the updated version. Whatever has been saved will be online for your guests to use.

Introduction

Great Online Menus is owned and operated by Radiant Software LLC, a company based in North Carolina, USA. By using the Great Online Menus service ("Service"), you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

Radiant Software LLC provides the Great Online Menus service, which consists of a menu builder, account management tools, and menu hosting services. The Service is offered as a monthly subscription for $9 USD. Upon payment confirmation, your menu will be put online and you will receive an email containing detailed information about the use of your menu. Please allow up to 24 hours for this processing.

2. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis and renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time by sending an email from your account email address requesting cancellation at the next billing cycle. Cancellation requests must be received before the next billing date to avoid further charges. All payments are non-refundable. No pro-rated refunds will be provided for partial months.

3. No Warranty

The Service and supporting software are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Radiant Software LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Radiant Software LLC, its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, good-will, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; or (c) any other matter relating to the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not Radiant Software LLC has been informed of the possibility of such damage.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purposes or in any way that might harm, disable, overburden, or impair the operation of the Service.

6. Modifications to Terms

Radiant Software LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. If changes are made, we will provide notice through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in North Carolina for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
